Sounds ridiculous I know, but it is a necessity for healthy skin. I had intense acne as a teenager and one of the reasons why is because I had disgusting habits. Habits I wasn’t even aware of. Whenever someone tells my they can’t figure out why their skin is acting out even though nothing has changed in their routine, these sneaky reasons are usually the culprit!
These are some things you should make a habit of:
- Wash your bedsheets and pillowcases (all your dead skin cells and dirt end up in bed with you…ew)
- Don’t use a facial sponge if you are not going to be religious about sanitizing it
- Try not to keep your hair all up in your face ESPECIALLY if it is unwashed
- DON’T TOUCH YO’ FACE. girl, when i say this, i mean it! I had dry, patchy skin so I scratched it and tugged on the skin with my fingers. Do you know how much bacteria and germs get on your fingers throughout the day? And you wonder why you keep breaking out? GEE I WONDER.~ Please please please do your face a favor and do not touch your face without washing your hands first. Kay? Kay.
Basically…just try to treat your skin as if it is a princess and only deserves the best! And by best i mean most sanitary! 😉 Let me know if these things work for you!!^^
