::REVIEW::O2 Sparking Blackhead Soap!!

PhotoGrid_1482792333185Hey guys! This was an amazing find at Ultaaa!! I love that Ulta is getting more and more Kbeauty!

So this is the Caolion O2 Sparling Blackhead Soap! It is supposed to hydrate, smooth, and control sebum! Also HANDMADE. WHAT. That is like Lush and all its glory šŸ™‚

So when I first opened this product I was like eh? What do I do with this? It’s a little circle that looks like a black bar of soap!

The feel and texture is smooth and clean~ It doesn’t transfer a greasy feeling right off the bat which is good!

See? Looks kinda of like a cookie.. haha! Its really small, I wish it were bigger~

So it is pink and green in the middle and each color has its own function. Black exfoliates, green hydrates and smooths and the pink is sebum control. Even though it exfoliates, it does not feel rough at all. It isn’t a scrub type exfoliate at all~

What this product claims: (my thoughts will be in blue)

Handmade-great for sensitive skin – yes! a totally gentle product

Eliminates impurities inside of pore and blackhead. Purifies skin through sebum control, leaves skin soothe and calm without over-drying. ehh I guess;; I didn’t feel a drastic change in my skin while using this product. I normally don’t produce a lot of sebum.. but it is true about over-drying.

Ingredients|Charcoal Powder, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender)Oil,Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Leaf Powder, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut)Oil ,Elaeis Guineensis (Palm)Oil,Leptospermum Petersonii Oil, Tocopherol, Theobroma Cacao(Cocoa) Seed Powder , Glycerin,Hyaluronic Acid, Carbonated Water, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice)Root Extract, Hydrogenated Jojoba Oil, Olea (Olive) Europaea Fruit Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea)Butter

I do like that the ingredient list tells you plain English what everything is.. likeĀ Lavandula Angustifolia ..what?? but next to it, it says lavender LOL. there’s a lot of oils in this cleanser..but it doesn’t feel greasy! great!<3

So when using this it feels really nice!! Like a very sensitive soap! It has a very distinct scent too..very one of a kind! I seriously tried and tried to compare the scent to something recognizable and I got goose egg.. Sorry guys, you’re just gonna have to try it and smell for yourself! The scent is good though, it’s not yucky or anything!

PhotoGrid_1482792242050All in all, do I think it’s a good product? YES. I think it was a great facial soap, but I don’t think I’d buy again just because I can get so much more bang for my buck with a cleanser.Ā This Caolion soap is found online anywhere from $9 to $17.. SO EXPENSIVEEEEEEEE. Oh my gahhh. I musta been crazy when I bought this.. whew.. Cleansers are a dime a dozen and as a result hella cheap!!

Do you guys use any facial soaps?? Doesn’t this one look like a cookie!!? Lemme know in the comments below!!!

  1. The only soap I actually use for my face is African black soap but I would love to try this out for the sebum control as I am super oily! But seeing as though I can get a huge block of African black soap for $5 that lasts me from 3 – 5 months, I will stick with the soap I have, lol

    1. ooh! ive never heard of african black soap! whats the brand name??
