Hand Creams! I feel like I’ve gone through a million in my lifetime and PROUD OF IT. :) I keep the hand cream industries in business! hehe
I always have a handcream on my desk at work and apply at least once a day! This hand cream in particular I got as part of my Kbeauty subscription box last year and it is the 3W Clinic Watering Essence Hand Cream.
This review will be a full, in-depth Hunnyybase edition so it will encase everything from application to ingredients to overall safety!! <3 Let’s get started!
This hand cream sells online for about $5 for an 80ml bottle like the one I have shown.
Description:
“Watering Essence is Natural beauty ingredients to safely and effectively revitalize the skin.”
My Thoughts:
I really love this handcream, it is just like the Dr. Jart Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer. It has a really watery consistency, applies so smooth and soft! It’s not as thin as the Dr. Jart but it’s as close as you can get. Because it’s so watery it dries super super fast which is great for me because I can apply the handcream and go straight ~~~~back to work~~
Some negatives? Well if you need a heavy-duty hand cream for really dry skin or eczema, this hand cream won’t do the trick. This is more of a daily light moisturizer.
As for product ingredients, this one took extra long because there is NO INGREDIENT LISTING IN ENGLISH! I couldn’t find it anywhere! The bottle has ingredients written in Korean and online they were also all in Korean. Nowhere could I find these ingredients written out in English… So my listing below is my own translation! Credits to me, please do not take out without crediting and letting me know~!!
~~KEY~~
blue – great ingredient
yellow – little to no data found about the ingredient
red – ingredient can be cause negative reactions
Ingredients:
Water, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Ethanol, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Octyldoldecanol, Sodium Chloride, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Sea Water, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract; White Tea Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Methylparaben.
Noteworthy Items:
Portulaca Oleracea Extract is the one ingredient that really stood out to me because it is a plant extract (Common Purslane) that is meant to smooth your skin and act as an antioxidant! It’s also good to put in a stew or soup I hear!! 🙂
Fragrance – Any kind of fragrance in cosmetics can give you a bad reaction especially if you have sensitive skin.
Methylparaben – Sounds like an awful paraben, just because of the name but I found no concrete evidence that this paraben definitively causes harmful effects on the body. Although some people stay away from it, as of now it is approved by the FDA for cosmetic purposes.
Conclusion:
All in all I think this is a great product! Very happy to see that there are no red flags with the product besides the fragrance, and honestly the cream doesn’t smell too bad at all. It smells like rose? Like a soft flower 🙂 This hand cream is worth the moneyyyy, I will definitely repurchase!! <3
