::REVIEW:: Papa Recipe- Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack!!

::REVIEW:: Papa Recipe Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack!! heyhunnyyHey hunnyyss!! I have the mother of all face masks to review today! This is the one and only Papa Recipe’s Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask!! If you know kbeauty then you know these bombee masks are highly regarded as one of the best!!

I found this little beauty in the streets of Manhattan last summer and I stopped my tracks COLD. I stopped so fast Drew was like “WHAT? Are you okay??!” lol 🙂 I walked right into the little mask store (on K-block) and purchased this little baby!!

As always this review will be part of my hunnyybase system where I list all the ingredients and point out any red flags and give an overall analysis on the products’ safety!

Details:

Comes with one sheet, 25ml. “Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack moisturizes the skin with the gold-honeycorn sheet generously soaked with richly hydrating propolis extract, 24k gold and essence.”

I have found this mask online anywhere from $2.50 to $3.50… Really expensive for one mask but I bit my tongue with this one since it was so highly regarded~ The mask itself has a honeycomb hologram design imprinted on the mask, so it has a very unique texture!

::REVIEW:: Papa Recipe- Bombee Rose Gold Honey Mask Pack!! |hunnyybase|Directions:

After cleansing, apply one mask onto a dry face. Leave mask on for 20~30 minutes. Take off the mask and lightly pat hands onto face for better absorption.

The Ingredient List:

Water, Methylpropanediol, Glycereth-26, 1,2-Hexanediol, Rosa Damascena Flower Water (1,000ppm), Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract (10ppm), Propolis Extract,  Honey Extract(1,000ppm), Pearl Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Butylene Glycol, Betaine, Allantoin, Panthenol, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Hydroxide, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Gold (10ppm), Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carborner, Tromethamine, Chrondrus Crispus Powder, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethyl Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

Noteworthy Items:

Potassium Hydroxide: This inorganic compound can be irritating to the skin when high concentrations are in products. Might be a cause for concern since this mask is supposed to be put on your entire face. If you have a reaction it will make your whole face red. Please be aware that this did not happen to me and I have dry/sensitive skin.

Gold This mask actually has GOLD. The Papa Recipe mask boasts that 24k gold is used on this mask! That is really cool!!

Dipotassium GlycyrrhizateLicorice Root extract, this skin soothing ingredient is highly regarded to improve skin’s tone and redness!

Fragrance – wah wah. Fragrance is in most skincare/beauty products to make it smell nice but can irritate those with sensitive skin.

PhotoGrid_1514774814762Conclusion:

Overall this mask had almost no red flags! Most of the ingredients are fantastic for the skin and I’m really impressed! The mask I would say is pretty good! Had a very strong rose scent but it wasn’t unpleasant, the honeycomb texture took some getting used to though~ All in all this mask is really worth the money and I will be trying the other Honey masks from Papa Recipe!!

Until next time loves!

  1. It really is impressive that it actually contains gold in it. If you are looking for more other facial masks, you should also try caffe latte mask that I’ve been using for weeks. It’s working real good for me. I think you will love it too!
