Hi bunnies! The title is not clickbait, it is true. I am refraining from buying any cosmetics in 2019. That is a huge goal I have for this year. The reasoning is just that I want to use up everything I already have before I buy more.
I had a massive shopping spree back in November and I bought one of everything (mascara, eyeshadow, foundation, lotions, toners, etc) so I would have enough to last me at least a year. This spree was on top of everything I already had at home. So you see.. I really don’t want to waste anything or throw anything away.
I want to hit pan on ALL my cosmetics!! I hate letting things get to waste so I refuse to be one of those makeup bloggers who have ROOMS filled with makeup that they end up throwing almost all of it away. I understand if people like collecting items but can’t you use it then just save the container?? That way you don’t have rotting cosmetics in your house…
So my reasoning behind this is simple, yes? If you think I’m nuts, lemme know and I’ll try to convince you to see my waysss 🙂 hehe
So wish me luck! It is January 15th and I haven’t bought anything yet!!
The only items not included in this list would be multipurpose things like cottons pads or toothpaste. Besides those I’m being pretty strict on not purchasing ANYTHING at Ulta, Sephora, etc~

Good luck! I went through last year on a lipstick ban (my worst category) and it really helped with my habits in other categories too. My friend also managed a makeup ban for a year, so it’s doable! You can definitely do it!! I’ll be rooting for you! X
