Happy Wednesday hunnyys!!
Another green life review! This time the product is Pacha Products beeswax food wraps! I saw these once on TV.. Maybe shark tank? an infomercial or somethingg.. But anyways I thought it was a great idea! Natural and reusable!
I really hate saran wrap because you can’t recycle it! Aluminum foil yes, saran wrap no!
So these are basically made from beeswax, organic cotton, jojoba oil and tree resin! These are the specs from amazon:
“✔️ VARIETY KIT OF 3- Includes 1 small beeswax wrap (size: 7″ x 8″), 1 medium wrap (10″ x 11″), and 1 large wrap (13″ x 14”). Perfect to store things such as snacks, fruits, vegetables, cheese, and bread, and also makes the perfect gift!
- ✔️ EASY TO USE AND CARE – Use the warmth of your hands to mold your Pacha Wrap around containers and food. The special blend of natural wax, oil and resin will adhere to itself creating a breathable seal that will keep your food fresh for longer. Wash it in cold water and -if necessary- with a mild soap. Air dry, fold and store.
- ✔️ ALL NATURAL, REUSABLE AND SUSTAINABLE – Made with organic cotton, pure beeswax from honey bees, organic jojoba oil and tree resin, a sheet can last up to one year with proper care. This means you help the planet and your wallet!
- ✔️ ELIMINATE PLASTIC AND CHEMICALS FROM YOUR LIFE – Our wraps extend the life of your favourite foods, and also eliminates the need for disposable plastic alternatives.”
So what did I think after using it?
It’s good! But not perfect. I thought because it was a bit sticky, it would cover containers and bowls really well but it doesn’t. It doesn’t adhere to edges. So if you want to keep a bowl fresh, this won’t work.
I think this should be used mainly for smaller items and not bowls. It’s perfect for wrapping my fruits and veggies in, wraps all the way around~ also adheres to the odd shapes!
Stains come off pretty easily, mostly just rub it a little with water. I am a little afraid to get pasta sauce or something thick on it.
Overall I give it a 6/10. I don’t use it as much as I thought I would. I also wish the sizes were larger so I could at least try to wrap it around my bowls.
What do you guys think? Do you use beeswax food covers?
Lemme know in the comments below!!
