Hi bunnies! Today we have a review for the Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Nutrition Caviar Mask Sheet! The mask looks so scientific right?
This mask costs $4 for ONE mask and is 19g. I’m going to try and see if it was worth the high price.. They sell it on their U.S. online shop in a pack of 2 for $9.
Several versions including Ceramide, Centella Asiatica, Collagen, EGF, Hyaluronic acid, Snail Mucin and Vitamin C.
Apparently this mask is not made of cotton! It is made with an ‘ultra fit’ material that makes it adhere to your face better to deliver the essence/serum.
Okay with that said let’s review!
The packaging is pretty thick, which makes it seem like they spent a pretty penny on the packaging! Good sign so far~~
I open up the package and this mask does not smell like anything. It feels like a regular ol’ cotton sheet mask so I apply it to my face and go about my day.
I spent 30 minutes with the mask applied and it felt fine! Normal experience, didn’t sting at all which was great! Usually Tony Moly masks really are hit or miss with the stinging effects.. I hate stinging feeling grrr.
So this mask was a really nice surprise, felt so nice and fit my face rather well! After I took the mask off my face felt really cold and soft~ In the days following I didn’t feel anything different so I would say it besides immediate effects it’s alrightt. Nothing noticeable about the non-cotton material.
Was it worth the price? Yes. The ONLY reason I say this is because of the ingredients. I will list them here-
“Water, Dipropylene Glycol , Glycerin, Propanediol , Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol , Butylene Glycol , Caviar Extract, Allantoin, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract , Caprylyl Glycol , Arginine, Carbomer, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Saussurea Involucrata Extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Veronica Officinalis Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin , Panthenol, Fragrance”
I am very interested in trying the other versions!! Mostly because I dunno what the hell Centella Asiatica is but it sounds interesting! I love weird skincare and as you know, my goal is to try all cosmetics products in the world!
Have you guys tried this Master Lab series? Lemme know in the comments below!!
