Good morning bunnies! Today I have a lipstick review for one of my first Kbeauty lipsticks! This product is an oldie but a goodie! This is the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lipstick in #OR207 Refreshing Orange.
I actually reviewed this lipstick a few years ago in one of my first posts ever! So crazy! But this review will show swatches and be an in-depth review! Legoo!
I love this lipstick so much I just finished my third one.. and I suck at finishing lipsticks so that means something! 🙂
Let’s get into the review!
SPECS:
- Official name is Etude House Blooming Lips-Talk OR207 상쾌한 오렌지 (Refreshing Orange)
- 3.4 grams
- Pretty sure this line is now discontinued; will be hard to find online
- I purchased originally for about $7
The orange is extremelyyyy pigmented! One layer is more than enough for a beautiful vibrant orange.
The color payoff is soo much better than the Etude House Dear Darling Jelly Lippies. I loved those too but for their texture. The blooming collection texture is more like a regular lipstick. Thick. Which leads me to my next point..
It breaks! The actual stick breaks easily when applying..
See? Heartbreak…
I was just applying it to my lips as normal and I guess my lips pushed it too hard.. It leaned like the Tower of Piza.. lol I ended up potting it in a spare container 🙁
I noticed this happens with a lot of Etude House lipsticks I have.. maybe it’s bad luck too.. Idk. In any case I really liked this lippie! Beautiful color!
Oh! One more thing, I said this in my last review but it is still true-if you have chapped lips, it will show! Definitely use a sugar scrub before applying this lipstick or you will look a hot mess. :)
