A note to myself before becoming a mom.

Please don’t lose yourself. Don’t be one of those women whose whole identity is washed away in being a mother and wife.

Keep your marriage intact and thriving. Don’t be rude and take advantage of husbands patience & help.

At the same time cherish every moment because kids grow fast. Take pictures/videos of as much as possible.

Selfcare. Spa days, pedicures, massages!

I don’t know, just some random thoughts as I approach my last three weeks of pregnancy. Probably the biggest change I will ever go through in life! I’m ready and terrified at the same time.
Overall hubby and I are incredibly blessed and so excited for baby girl to arrive <3

  1. It’s okay to “lose” yourself when you become a mom. Quite frankly it’s really easy to do. The important thing is to remember that you WILL eventually get your identity back. It will be a new, more powerful, better person that you never thought you’d become. Because now you are a mom and you’ve changed into a completely new self. Don’t hold onto your past and open yourself up for the future. Good luck! You’ll be a fantastic mom!
